10 year tie to a stalwart on our committee and a very committed Nomad, congratulations to John Elliot. Prize-giving kicked off a couple of minutes late, but was done timeously, thank you Tom. Well played to all the winners, we had no less than 6 prizes won by guests and prospective members. It is an unusual trend that seems to have developed over the last couple of months and something that we will be addressing at our committee meeting………I did chat to a couple of members after prize-giving, receiving some constructive input and ask you to bear with me as we endeavour to find a suitable solution to this matter. Nomads thank you very much for responding to our appeal to complete the Membership Survey……..I am sure you will all be interested to see the recommendations that arise from it. In closing, as you may or may not be aware, Mark and Michelle Burmester will be relocating to the Southern Cape, we wish them all the best and thank them for everything they have done for our club to date. The Treasurer and Furtherance of Golf portfolios are left vacant on the committee as a result.
