Dear Nomads.
Congratulations to the Divisional Winners, Keith Gillespie in A-Div with 38 points; Daryl Francois
in B-Div with 35 points and Brian Findlay in C-Div with 38 points.
I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the Cato Ridge Golf Course, considering the time
of the year. Although the fairways were firm, I thought the tee boxes and particularly the
greens were in good nick, and were true to putt on. Judging by the scores the course played
fairly. It was also good to see new blood coming through, with a couple of inductees on the day
and a number of guests, who always seem to be in t he prizes!
Well done to all the other winners on the day, including those that progressed through to the
next round of the Gary Player knockout.
Our Lotto winner for the month was Moira Brown – nice one Gavin! Thank you to Ian Brewer
and Richard Anderson for doing the scoring after the game, to Helen Parker and Garth Enslin
for doing registration, to Derek Airey for the photos and to Phil Hodgson and Ray James for
handling the starting on the 1st and 10th.

Prize-giving went smoothly – we used the Nomads sound system which was perfect – so this I
think will come along to most of the monthly games in the future. Thanks to Steve McClelland
