a 3 second lead over Megatron8121. JamieDobbs911 would run 3rd with Oddball1791 4th. The order stayed the same until Megatron8121 decided to short pit, and ended up getting black flagged 3 times and going 4 laps down.
LupeG575 maintined the lead until lap 43, when he collided with a sideways/stopped Webbs6212. This would put LupeG575 in the back and he struggled to get back to the front from then out. Another heartbreak for the fastest driver currently in the series.
LupeG575′s misfortune opened the race up to everyone. A series of late race cautions would allow megatron8121 to regain his lead lap position. The final caution would come out on lap 55 as the field would then line up for the 3rd and final GWC attempt. Oddball1791 held the lead over JamieDobbs911, and from there on back most of the field had fresher tires.
Megatron8121 would line up 3rd and would get underneath both into 1. Off of turn two, oddball1791 and megatron8121 remained side by side. Into 3 Swagger-Racing26 decided he wanted his shot, and then he would hook Megatron8121 into Oddball1791 and cause a massive crash. Swagger-Racing26 would squirt through and hold on for his first career victory and
also lock himself into the All Star with just this race to spare.
Webbs6212 would get a career best 2nd , with JamieDobbs911 coming in 3rd. Pole sitter and race dominator LupeG575 4th, and Collton rounded out the top 5 after running possibly the smartest race of everyone.
As the chase heats up, Chadrick32 holds just a 1 point lead over JamieDobbs911, who holds just a 1 point lead over LupeG575. Both Dobbs and LupeG575 hold wins , which chadrick32 does not. It’s almost certain one of those will get the wild card, so chadrick32 will have to fight tough to stay inside the top 4.
Next week we head to Kentucky for the 1st annual All Star Race. 7 drivers are currently locked in with wins, with another 2 up for grabs with the fan vote and open race.
