again got loose and brought out the caution. In the pits Megatron8121′s crew would beat out the #53 car of LupeG575, but once again LupeG575 would retain
the lead. He would lead in total 75 laps
in a completely dominating effort.
A lap 75 caution would put the race in a frantic 5 lap shootout. A huge surprise as LupeG575 stayed out on older tires as oddball171, megatron8121, chadrick, and jamiedobbs would all pit. Oddball would make quick work of everyone and get to 2nd, as Megatron8121 followed in 3rd. They stayed this way until the last lap. Off turn 2 contact between oddball1791 and lupeG575 would send Lupeg575 spinning and Oddball1791 squirted through and held off megatron8121 for his 3rd win of the season. This was the 3rd race in a row LupeG575 has had last lap contact which continues a spiral of bad luck after winning his first CPR race.

southernshot Steals Talladega
Race 9 of the CPR Sprint Cup series marked the 2nd and final super speedway race of the season. After Charlotte was canned, Talladega moved into the catbirds seat with 10 drivers having their eyes on winning the race.
LupeG575, and Webbs6212 would tie for the pole position at a 50.44. It would give the edge to LupeG for his 4th pole of the season. It didn’t take long for the field to get antsy as 5 quick cautions slowed the race pace down considerably.
Once the field got going JamieDobbs911 and Webbs6212 inserted their selves as early favorite. Each led a race high 17 laps, but neither one ended up in victory lane. After a lap 38 incident between chadrick32 and collton set up a GWC, Webbs6212
maintained the lead and looked poised to take his #12 to victory for the first time.
He kept the lead until the tri oval, and attempted a block on points leader oddball1791 but it went south quick as the drivers touched. Southernshot then shot by to claim his first ever CPR victory in just his 4th start. Pole Sitter LupeG575 once again endured horrible luck and wound up 7th.
The race for the final chase spot is heating up between chadrick32, JamieDobbs911, LupeG575 , and Bobby_Buschfan72 not far behind. Next week we visit Kansas Speedway, the final stop before the first annual CPR All Star Race. Fan voting will begin instantly after the Kansas race.

Kansas Speedway was the host of this weeks CPR Sprint Cup series race. Once again 10 drivers checked into the race.
As practice started, an early surprise of Bobby_Buschfan72 arose as he held the fastest practice lap. LupeG575 would spoil his pole hopes though with 30.22 laptime. Driving with limited caution allowance, Bobby_Buschfan72 would have his race ended on lap 3 after 2 quick incidents.
There would be 4 cautions the first 12 laps, then a 30 lap run saw the field string out. LupeG575 would set sail and gather
