tonehenge (meaning hanging

stones) is a prehistoric monument

in Wiltshire, 2 hours away from London. It is

made of stones with 4 meters high and 2 meters

wide, weighting 25 tons. Constructed between

3000BC to 2000BC, this pieces of rock are one

of the most famous landmarks in UK and the

site and its surroundings are part of UNESCO'S

list of World Heritage Sites, being owned by the

Crown. The big mystery present in this

monument is how our ancestors lifted these

height big rocks and fitted them

perfectly in vertical blocks.
