CITY INFO Elected Officials MAYOR Michael Wildes CITY COUNCIL Charles Cobb (At-Large Member) Cheryl Rosenberg (Ward 1) Mayor Wildes’ Corner This past Martin Luther King Day brought citizens from all parts of the city together. We gathered outside of City Hall to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the most visible spokesperson and leader in the Civil Rights Movement. Through nonviolence and civil disobedience, Dr. King fought for equality, dignity and freedom. In unity, we marched with our neighbors to the Community Baptist Church where we heard words of inspiration from clergy members and elected officials, and engaged in a Day of Service with the Center for Food Action. My hope and prayer is that we continue to emulate the good work of Dr. King and work toward an Englewood filled with love, peace and harmony for all. Michael D.
