Quarterly taxes due,
can be paid online
Fun and Fabulous Healthy Eating
The next quarterly due date for prop-
erty taxes is May 1. Taxes can now be
paid online at the City’s website, www.
cityofenglewood.org, under the “Servic-
es” tab – select “Pay your taxes online.”
There is no fee for this service. For
your convenience, the Tax Collector’s
office will extend its hours to 8 p.m. on
May 4. As always, the last day to pay to
avoid interest charges is the 10th of the
month. Please remember if you would
like a receipt for your tax payment,
the entire tax bill must be submitted at
the time of payment or your cancelled
check will be your receipt. Contact

Recreation Dept. unveils
Aging-In-Action program
Englewood Recreation has rolled out
a new Aging-In-Action program in
conjunction with Bergen Family Cen-
ter. Once a month, Recreation brings
themed programming to BFC Seniors
on Wednesday afternoons. It kicked off
with a Valentine’s Day Party in Febru-
ary and is looking forward to the St.
Patrick’s Day program in March, Casino
Night in April and Jump into Summer
Luau Party in May. The first March
Madness Basketball program, featuring
players from multiple city departments,
high school stars as well as Coach Leo’s
recreation players of all ages, will take
place March 29 at 4:30 p.m. at DMHS.
Registration for SunFun Day Camp is
now open! Exciting new trips and activi-
ties have been added.Camp runs for
nine weeks, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., week-
days beginning June 29. Register at reg-

CFA ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD APPOINTMENTS
Center for Food Action (CFA) appointed Phyllis
Brown-Edwards, Director of Community Affairs,
Englewood Health; Anthony Fasciano, Restaura-
teur, Giulio’s Restaurant; Shelley Eleby, Chief Mar-
keting Office, Clearpool; and David M. York, Esq.,
Novins, York & Jacobus, to its board of directors.
