Adults ?nd it tough while Colts gallop ahead
ver the last month as the season hurtles towards its conclusion, the performances of the adult teams have been pretty disappointing. The 1s haven’t been able to kick on after their ?rst victory of the season and have posted a high score of only 131 which hasn’t been good enough and resulted in 4 defeats in a row and probable relegation.

More excitingly though, o? the ?eld our Fun Day took place on Sunday 25th August. We have received a lot of positive feedback from the local businesses in Pinner including Gibbs Gillespie, Your Pinner News, Friends, Harris + Hoole and many others. So a big thank you for all those in Pinner who have contributed in anyway. The Fun Day was open to all comers, there was a fancy dress charity match in the afternoon, bouncy castles, face painting, cake stall, entertainment stall and many other fun activities for the whole community. All the funds will go back into the colts and the development of the outdoor nets area. So after reading this we hope to update next month after a fantastic day.

The 2s have performed better, often getting into winning positions only for a collapse to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory. However, they have one won and drawn one during the last month of matches. Our under 10s ?nished semi ?nalists in the annual under 10 north area competition but more importantly won the boys fair play award, an award given to the team that plays in the best spirit, enclosed is a picture of the team!
