Miranda Pilates is conveniently located in the heart of Pinner and has a professional yet Mike, Pinner friendly approach to the discipline. Classes are small (no more than 12 to ensure that individual attention is given to everyone) and are held in a cosy yet bright and airy studio on Love Lane. Miranda Shannon, the class teacher, has been passionate about Pilates for many years. She said: "I've always taken a keen interest in a wide range of sports and ?tness, including being an aerobics instructor, but around 10 years ago, after the birth of my second child, I discovered Pilates and thought: this makes so much sense, one day I'd love to teach its bene?ts to others.” So, 2 more children and a city career later and after extensive training and quali?cations with Body Control Pilates (a world leader in Pilates), Miranda has happily realised her dream.
