Global Education and European Teaching Strategies 2018-1-ES01-KA101-049441 Regarding the school board, oddly enough, there are only 2 people devoted to managing the school and there is no educational psychological support. School calendar: https://www.ahs-rahlgasse.at/index.php/terminplan-mainmenu-5 b. German lesson Group 1D (10-year-olds) Students took the grammar term exam, which strangely they could finish at home. c. Presentation of the school vision and mission The school vision is quite liberal and progressive and its mission is to empower all students to apply their acquired skills and knowledge, and to rely upon their personal attributes to become contributing members of the global community. They have based their mission on three pillars: Gender (G), Environment (E) and Social inclusion (S). In order to achieve their mission, they have encompassed the values of the staff and introduced changes in different areas such as curriculum, teaching-learning activities and school organisation. Regarding curriculum, a new optional subject called "GUS-Lehrgang" has been designed to merge the focus of their three pillars GUS. The basic GUS subject can be chosen in 6th or 7th grade, 2 hours a week per year and deals with basic knowledge on gender, foundations for gender and diversity management, reflection of one's own perception and attitude and ecological relationships, circulatory processes in nature and waste problems. It is also possible to roll in 5 hours per week (10 module hours) from the modules assigned to the 3 pillars, with at least one annual weekly lesson (2 module hours) per pillar (Gender G, Environment U, Social S). At least one module must be an internship or include a task, including a project (internship) report, which, if selected, will be presented at the Matura (A-levels). On the other hand, teachers should take into account the school mission when designing and implementing their didactic units in the classroom.
