English Lesson 8D
Students made a presentation on water and we introduced
ourselves and talked about the similarities and differences between
their country and the educational system and ours. The session was
quite interactive and pupils took part in it actively.
French lesson 3D
This was a quite traditional teacher-fronted session. The teacher
checked on previous knowledge and vocabulary. It is worth
pointing out some intercomprehension strategies the teacher used
to help pupils understand some grammar points: she compared
French and English to illustrate some grammar structures and on
other occasions she used German she used German to make
students reflect on some grammar structures.
Maths lesson 7B
The lesson is usually taught in German but due to our visit, the
teacher changed to English with total normality and complete
acceptance from the students. Their English level is quite high and
they do not show any problems to understand the teacher and keep
an active attitude during the whole lesson. They even helped the
teacher with some vocabulary. It is remarkable the fact that the
problem they had to solve was related to real life situations.
Meeting with the Erasmus+ coordinators
a. Discipline management
To keep track of pupils’ behaviour
more effectively, they have
designed a discipline referral and
each type of disruptive behaviour
has been rated.
b. Future cooperation
They are interested in a bilateral project on Arts with 17-year-old
pupils. Their idea is to create a film as the final product of the
project. We will be working on this possibility for the 2020 Erasmus+
call.
