Global Education and European Teaching Strategies
2018-1-ES01-KA101-049441
This project has been a great asset for the GUS team and the
implementation of new methodologies in the science lessons. In the
twelve-year-old class, we observed the pupils’ presentation of their
science projects. In a very natural way they followed the scientific
method to justify their driving question, make their hands-on
experiment in front of the audience and argue about the process,
the results and the conclusion of the experiment. Their partners
made questions and evaluate their performance in a very mature
way.
To finish the activity, each pupil filled in the self-assessment form
based on his/her competence.

After school childcare
For parents who want to keep their child well looked after in the
afternoons, they offer afternoon care in the lower grades. Pupils can
have a hot meal at lunchtime and then do their homework under the
supervision of teachers. The
school kitchen is also
connected to a buffet,
which is available to their
students during a large
part of the daily school
time. They also attach great
importance to the fact that
the products in the buffet as
well as in the school
kitchen contribute to a
healthy diet.
