Measurements and Data Table:

Acceleration:

Velocity:

Interpretation of the Graph: For the acceleration graph the slope is positive and it’s curving a tad bit which indicates that the buggy was going downhill at a faster pace as time increases. The velocity graph shows a slope that is positive since it was just going in a positive diagonal line, this indicates that the buggy had a constant velocity throughout as time passed by.

Conclusion: During this Lab I noticed that the slope of the ramps caused there to be different velocities throughout. The acceleration graph had a slope since there were books making it go diagonally. The velocity graph was just straight since it didn't have any type of slope, it was just constant throughout. When I looked at another groups lab I noticed that there were a very common characteristics throughout the graph. The acceleration graph was curved since it had a slope but the velocity graph didn't have a slope since it didn't have a slope.

Mathematical Model:

Acceleration Δ Velocity/ Δ Time

Velocity= Position/ Time
