Symptoms and Treatment for Anxiety

Mental health is as important as physical health. Mental health includes a person’s emotional, psychological and social well-being. It affects how a person thinks, feels and also acts. Having a sound mental health is important as it determines how a person can handle stress, make sound choices and how he/she interacts with others. Mental health is important for the social well-being of a person at every stage in life, from childhood to adolescence and even beyond. One of the ways that our mental illness effected through anxiety. Anxiety makes any individual to overthink and worry about everything around him/her.
Anxiety disorder involves repeated episodes of sudden feelings of intense fear or terror that reach a peak within minutes. There are various ways for anyone to spot someone that is suffering from anxiety disorders. Usually, they start to feel nervous and tense around people they know and they do not know. They always have a sense of impending danger, pain, and insecurity. During an episode of anxiety an individual will feel an increase in the heart rate, sweating, trembling, and they find it hard to breath easily. One of the major symptoms of anxiety is the feeling of tiredness and weakness. They find it hard to concrete or think of anything except their present worries and concerns. The last symptom that they suffer is the lack and trouble to sleep. For any therapists he/ she have to measure the anxiety level that anyone is suffering from. Generally speaking, anxiety is measured using the Statistics Anxiety Rate Scale (STARS). Accordingly, to the statistics that was found out lately indicates that 6% and 20 % of the variance is for the students that are suffering from anxiety disorder.
