The committee decided to organize various activities as part of orientation. The programme“ Hunar Hai toh Kadar hai”, Plumbing Skill competition( Kaushal Mela) in association with IPSC and organization of seminars were also discussed. Outline plan for internship, arrangement of quality centers and plumbing laboratories were made at the meeting.

Initiatives from the sector Work with a mentor
Certain initiatives were taken in to consideration after active deliberations from Business Advisory Committee meetings. Assigning ASAP student with an experienced certified plumber as a mentee for on the job training or attaching a person with a supervisor were suggested as initiatives that could make students industry-ready. The programme,‘ Work with Mentor’ will prove beneficial to the plumbing industry, creating opportunities for training as well as acknowledgment and recognition of skills, passion, commitment and business acumen.
Plumber on call
As there is an acute shortage of plumbers for work, the idea of pooling ASAP trained plumbers after specialized incubation training to form a team of plumbers is being considered by ASAP. Technology tools are being considered to be used for creating user friendly platforms for customers to access the plumbers from the team. The idea, if materialized, will be a revolutionary one in the sector creating an opportunity for students to establish their career in the industry.
