This year’s seminar has to be extraordinary and address modern challenges in the developing world, such as climate change. My experience as a paediatrician will be valuable in terms of addressing childhood diseases prevalent in the subsaharan Africa and shedding light to social challenges faced by children in those countries.” Michail Krikelis, MD, MSc Academic Programme & Fundraising “This intensive seminar has to be a unique experience for every participant. As responsible for the academic activities of the schedule, I commit for the seminar to provide deep scientific knowledge in the fields of tropical medicine, travel medicine and global health. As a human rights advocate, I commit that relevant topics, such as social exclusion and vulnerable social groups, will be studied, too. As an alumnus of the MSc programme “Global Health - Disaster Medicine” I commit to bring global health challenges of Africa in scope, but in the most entertaining way. The goal will be to combine fun with knowledge.
