Tennyson began to showcase his literary talents at an early age. Wow and would you look at that, he was only 14 years old when he wrote a drama in blank verse and a 6000-line epic poem! At that age, most of us were dealing with pimples and body hair. Tennyson enrolled at Trinity College, Cambridge in 1828 & joined an informal club known as "the Apostle".
