Dominican Associates
Dominican Associates are women and men, single and married, who live out
their baptismal call to follow Jesus Christ in the spirit of St. Dominic and
St. Catherine of Siena. Associates are companions to the Sisters in the journey of
“Holy Preaching,” and bonded to the congregation through this commitment.
Associates are invited to:
• Participate in the prayer and mission of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville
in a non-vowed way.
• Live the Gospel life through the lens of the Congregation’s Vision Statement.
• Pray with a local community monthly, attend Congregational days of prayer
and study, and participate in the ministry of the Dominican Family.
If you are interested in learning more about Dominican Associates, please contact
Dr. Virginia Campbell at: associates @ amityop.org

Dominican Youth Movement USA
The Dominican Youth Movement USA is a partnership of people committed to
passing on and integrating the Dominican charism into their lives. DYM USA
connects today’s youth and young adults to the Dominican tradition of preaching.
Programs and workshops offer a time, place, and context for building faith and
strengthening young people’s commitment to God, community, family, p reaching,
social justice and the Dominican Order.
These dedicated young adults have been an integral part of Dominican ministry.
In conjunction with the Sisters of St. Dominic and Molloy College, DYA members
have participated in programs like Boxtown, serving the homeless, and joining the
Sisters to work with the poor in El Salvador.
If you would like to learn more about this powerful youth movement, please contact
S. Gina Fleming, OP at promoterop @ gmail.com or visit www.dymusa.org.
