Planned Giving
Making a planned gift is a wonderful way to show your support for the Sisters
of St. Dominic of Amityville while accommodating your personal, financial,
estate-planning, and philanthropic goals. With smart planning you may actually
increase the size of your estate and reduce the tax burden on your heirs while
making a meaningful contribution to the Sisters of St. Dominic.
We invite you to familiarize yourself with various gift options by exploring

your personal goals.
Dominican Companions
Participants in this program choose to give a monthly gift that is deducted from
their checking or credit card account. This steady monthly income allows us to
more effectively manage our limited resources. Donors receive no other direct
mail solicitations during the year.
Dominic’s Family of Winners
On the second Wednesday of each month from September to June, we will draw one lucky $500 cash prize
winner. In addition, we will have three Bonus Drawings of $1,000 each: in October for the Feast of Queen
of the Rosary; in December for Christmas; and in April for the Feast of St. Catherine of Siena. If you should be
one of our lucky winners, your ticket will go back in the drum so it is possible to win more than once in the
given year. Tickets are $10 each. Your donation will help the Sisters provide for their elderly members and
enable them to continue their ministries. For more information contact the Office of Advancement at
631-842-6000 ext. 238. Better yet, try your luck! Coupons are provided below for a gift of $10 each.
