Financial Security
The Airports Authority retirement and financial planning programs assist employees in planning and retiring with confidence . The Airports Authority provides employees with 457 ( b ) and 401 ( a ) retirement savings plans and a defined benefit pension plan . These plans are designed to help employees accumulate savings for retirement by allowing voluntary contributions of their pay with tax-deferred money . Employees also have the option to invest in Roth contributions . The Airports Authority ’ s Compensation and Benefits team is dedicated to building awareness of retirement benefits . Their efforts resulted in more than 90 % of employees participating in the Airports Authority ’ s retirement plans .
The Airports Authority also provides employees with disability income protection . The Airports Authority ’ s long-term disability benefit protects employees ’ income in the event they become sick or injured and cannot work . This program provides our employees with a vital financial safety net in case of the unexpected .

We are committed to developing a stream of talent at all levels . Our employee development programs provide meaningful opportunities for employees to develop the skills and capabilities necessary to succeed and achieve their potential . This requires significant investment in talent development . In 2022 , employees received more than 12,800 hours of job-related training .
