The Airports Authority provides comprehensive health insurance and wellness benefits to more than 2,000 employees , their families , and retirees . Employees are offered options for medical coverage . Eighty percent of the cost of this valuable benefit is covered by the Airports Authority , providing employees and retirees with access to premium and economical healthcare .
Well-Being
Our approach to wellness is focused on addressing health risks and managing health care costs for our employees . Our Wellness-in-Action programs provide employees with health education , disease management assistance , fitness programs and mental health support .
Free Preventive Care Wellness in Action
Vaccinations
Airports Authority employees and their covered dependents enrolled in one of the Airports Authority ’ s medical options pay nothing for age-appropriate recommended preventive care from a covered provider .
Employees are eligible to receive reimbursement for a portion of their membership-related expenses in an approved fitness and or weight management program . In 2022 , 260 employees participated in our Wellness-in-Action programs .
The Airports Authority offered six onsite vaccination clinics in 2022 . Employees could receive COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters . The Airports Authority also offered 13 flu shot clinics for employees . The COVID-19 and flu clinics were aimed at reducing the spread and risks associated with these illnesses .
