Eternal Plant by Maiden
He whispers,
To the plants.
The plants whisper back,
Telling him to run, run and never return.
Telling him the secrets of the universe.
They would know,
They've been around since the beginning.
Since the very beginning,
In the garden
Of Eden.

Tomorrow by Casey LaPlaca
Down below they wait with open ears
He sits on the cloud and sings
and gone goes their fears
“Tomorrow”
Tomorrow is always promised
“Tomorrow”
Tomorrow is always promised
And happy it was
That night they wait with open ears
He sits on the moon and sings
Brings them to tears
“Tomorrow”
He shouted
“Tomorrow is the great flood”
“Tomorrow”
She shouted
“Tomorrow will flood only with love”
“Tomorrow is always promised”
The citizens shout
“Tomorrow is always promised”
“As he is in the clouds”
The waters came
and there they stood
Stood there tame
As much as they could
She held her palm out
Settled the water
“Tomorrow!” they would shout
“For you and your daughter!”
That night
He fought against the rain
With all his might
Pushed it down the drain
“Tomorrow”
Tomorrow is always promised
“Tomorrow”
Tomorrow is always promised
And happy it was
That night they wait and listen
He sits on the moon and sings
Their eyes glisten
“Tomorrow!”
He shouted
“Tomorrow the flowers will bloom!”
“Tomorrow!”
She shouted
“Tomorrow will have no kind of gloom”
“Tomorrow is always promised”
The citizens shout
“Tomorrow is always promised”
“As he is in the clouds”
The sun came up
And there came color
The flowers bloomed
“For you and your mother”
They picked each out
They smiled with blisters
“Tomorrow!” They would shout
“For you and your sisters!”
That night
He sat on the cloud
Fell asleep alright
Got lost in the sound
The sky was silent
Their ears could not hear
Their heart rate was violent
And so were their fears
“Tomorrow!”
“Tomorrow is never promised!”
“Tomorrow!”
“Tomorrow is never promised!”
And dark it was
They were afraid to go
They didn’t know what was coming
Some kind of foe
Some tyrant, quickly running
They wait for a sign
Some kind of tune
Stay put in a line
Wait for their doom
He appears from the blue
says “sorry for my slumber”
“Tomorrow..I have no clue”
“Just a little thunder”
They scream loud
“Tomorrow will rise soon”
“And we can’t get out”
now...She rises from the crowd
“Tomorrow!”
“Tomorrow is never promised!”
“Never!”
“If we’re being honest!”
“Let’s live today”
“Maybe die tomorrow”
“Celebrate! I say”
“Not live in sorrow”
Tomorrow glared
And so did thunder
They were unprepared
But they did not wonder
They accepted their fate
Smiled through
Were buried in slate
Left only a few
Tomorrow
Tomorrow is never promised
Never
If we’re being honest
Tomorrow is never promised
So live in the present
Enjoy it and live
Every day like it’s last
Life has much to give
But tomorrow is passed
“Tomorrow”
She shouted
“Tomorrow will flood only with love”
“Tomorrow is always promised”
The citizens shout
“Tomorrow is always promised”
“As he is in the clouds”
The waters came
and there they stood
Stood there tame
