again , we have not been out dancing . Pretty soon I will need dancing lessons again . Oh well they say it is like riding a bike . Once you have it , it is like you never left it . Hope this is the case .
We are getting excited for the Music Festival at Glencoe , Minnesota . It starts August 5th , 6th , and 7th . There will be lots of good bands to entertain you and get your feet dancing . Friday August 5th , we have Julie Lee from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM . Saturday August 6th is our meeting at 10:30 A . M . If you come early , you may even get coffee and donut . On Saturday the is Gary Brueggan , and Leon Olson . They start at 12:00 PM to 8:00PM . Then on Sunday we have Nate Frederickson and Dain ’ s Dutchman bands . They start at 12:00PM to 8:00PM . The price for Friday August 5th $ 10:00 each and $ 45.00 for a weekend pass . August 6th & 7th , the price is $ 20.00 per person per day . The price of the dances has remained the same as last year . My husband and I plan to attend . I am hoping to see all of you there . It will be great to get back on the dance floor .

Sent a Get well Thinking about you wish to Bella Hertaus . She is having a port put in . Sent a Sympathy card to Richard Novotny his wife Evelyn passed away .
Went to music in the park in Lester Prairie Park . Concertina Melinda & Friends played . It was a beautiful evening to listen and dance if you wanted to hear some good music .
July 3 went to the King & Queen Ball Dance at Pla Mor they had a nice crowd . The 4th our family got together for a picnic at our place . July 17 Pla Mor was the place to be Blake Klaustemeier and friends played . It

was the place to be for Birthday celebrations also one person brought birthday cake to share with everyone there . July 24 Wendinger band played at Pla Mor . August 4th Jim ’ s Brewers played for the music in the park at Silver Lake they had a nice crowd , weather and music were both good . It was also our 43rd Anniversary . Then we had our Musicfest 3 days of dancing and fellowship . Thank you to everyone that came . The attendance was good and everyone was having a great time . Hope to see you all again next year .

Greetings to friends dancers and readers of the Music and Dance magazine .
Another year has rolled around for The Polka

Lovers Klub Musicfest . We seem to always hit a week of hot humid weather . I guess the good Lord likes to see us sweat and suffer as we enjoy ourselves dancing and having a great time meeting old friends and meeting new ones . I hope everyone has a good time this year , as we do have a great lineup of bands .
Thank you to all the members who have renewed their memberships . I really do appreciate your
promptness responding back as it makes my job much easier . Hopefully I won ’ t miss anyone as I do make mistakes . Please let me know if you are not getting your magazine and I will take care of the matter .
With all the hot dry weather we don ’ t have to mow the lawn as often , but I do water the garden and flowers . Tomatoes and cukes are doing well so am busy picking and preserving .
By the time this goes to print the Musicfest will be over and plans will be in order for next year . Hope to see everyone again .
