When Rania Succar stepped into her new role as CEO of Kaseya, she didn’ t just bring a résumé full of big-brand leadership experience— she brought a deep belief in the power of community. For Succar, MSPs aren’ t just customers of Kaseya’ s platform— they’ re partners in a shared mission to help small businesses thrive.

With a clear focus on collaboration, customer experience, and innovation, Succar is looking to build on Kaseya’ s strong foundation and deepen its support of the MSP ecosystem.
Putting Partners First
Choosing a CEO from outside the channel came as a surprise to some, but Succar has a deep understanding of the needs of SMBs and a track record of driving innovation as head of Intuit Mailchimp, a leading email marketing automation platform. A fast-rising leader, she also brings valuable experience from prior roles at Google, McKinsey, and Merrill Lynch.
Succar calls herself a“ transformational leader” and brings to the channel a leadership playbook she developed“ to drive change quickly” and deliver real, measurable outcomes.
Those outcomes include improving the overall partner experience through all aspects of doing business with Kaseya, Succar says.“ It ' s about putting our customers first in every experience, so whether onboarding or billing or support, they always have great experiences with Kaseya. It ' s what my agenda will be.”
She says she’ ll be focused on customer-centric metrics and innovation, leaning into AI and automation.“ We will be taking advantage of the best that AI brings to bear,” she says. In addition,“ everything we do will be measured based on how much we ' re improving the profitability of the MSPs we serve and their revenue growth, as well as end customers that MSPs serve.” The product roadmap will be prioritized to drive up those metrics, she says.
Building on Kaseya’ s Strong Foundation
Succar is no stranger to stepping into a leadership role after highprofile CEOs transition away from their roles, first at Mailchimp with co-founder Ben Chestnut, and now with Fred Voccola, who led Kaseya over the last 10 years. Succar says she views that as an opportunity rather than a challenge.
