resonates with our customers. We now have an end-to-end platform that is uniquely positioned to meet the needs of MSPs. I very much appreciate the opportunity to build on what Fred did, taking the strong foundation and all the things that are part of Kaseya ' s DNA that make us great, and adding a different perspective and outlook that is very complementary, and in many ways takes us in a new direction.”
Setting Priorities That Drive Partner Success
Succar says she“ will be working with the very talented leadership team” to identify the priorities that matter most to MSPs, starting with the customer-first, end-to-end experiences they’ d like to have and then“ the enabling technologies in our culture that allow us to just work faster and better.” Then, she says,“ we ' ll go after them in the way that I like to work— with speed. That typically manifests itself in alignment across all functions.” Every role in Kaseya will have the same shared goals, she says.
In addition, Succar says they will continue to advance the platform.“ You ' re going to see us really strengthen our innovation engine in-house,” she says. When asked if there will be additional acquisitions, she responds:“ We ' re always looking at smart acquisitions to strengthen the platform.”
As for what a potential IPO might mean for MSPs, Succar says,“ The best public companies generate strong returns for investors... and have a very robust innovation engine. So that ' ll be great for MSPs.”
Advancing the Kaseya 365 Platform
Under Voccola’ s leadership, Kaseya has been integrating across its portfolio, manifesting last year with the rollout of the Kaseya 365 platform, which to date includes Kaseya 365 Endpoint, Kaseya 365 User, and Kaseya 365 Ops. Succar says they will continue the platform push.“ We ' re just getting started. There ' s so much incremental value we can deliver there. In addition, we ' ll start to become the platform that also works for the most sophisticated MSPs in the industry, because not only are we easy to integrate with, but we offer the flexibility for them to build differentiated solutions on top of the platform.”
At the same time, she says Kaseya“ will double down” on giving MSPs choice.“ It needs to be very easy for them to use Kaseya and integrate it with other solutions as well.” However, she adds,“ We aspire, and will continue to aspire, to be their operating system— the nerve center of the operation they ' re running.”
Leaning into Community and Shared Knowledge
Succar also plans to invest in building trust, connection, and loyalty within the MSP community. On the job just a few weeks when she took the stage at Kaseya DattoCon Europe in Dublin, Succar says she was“ blown away” at an evening event“ to see MSPs coming together and exchanging thoughts and perspectives and having fun.”
Rania Succar takes the stage in June at Kaseya DattoCon Europe in Dublin, Ireland, where more than 1,500 MSPs from around the world heard the new CEO’ s vision for powering MSP success.
Bringing MSPs together, both in-person and virtually, will continue to be a priority, as well as advancing their peer groups, with a goal of targeting“ a broader set of MSPs in our community and democratizing a lot of that knowledge and information,” she says.
Within the Kaseya platform, Succar envisions using AI and automation to coach MSPs toward operational improvements.“ If you ' re in the PSA, for example, and we see that you ' re in the lower end of endpoints per technician from an efficiency perspective, we can nudge you and say,‘ Here ' s a better way for you to route tickets, or here ' s a better way for you to handle password resets. We have an automation for you that people who are in the top 10 % of endpoints per technician are turning on.’”
Meeting the Moment
Meeting with Kaseya staff for the first time, Succar says she shared this:“ I care deeply about being part of world-class companies that are singular in their leadership in the industry, and it ' s what brought me to Kaseya.”
As for her mission, she concludes,“ Kaseya is uniquely positioned at this moment, and we are all so excited about the innovation we ' ll bring to market and the degree to which we ' ll power MSP success and end-SMB success.”
