Interested in employment topics that affect Veterans, military members, caregivers, and spouses? Want to write about those topics? Want to publish your writing?
Then the MSEJ Writers Guild is the program for you!
The MSEJ Writers Guild provides military affiliates with experience and training in writing and publishing as well as an outlet through which to publish their work. The Writers Guild achieves this mission through training, mentorship, and participation in the publication of the MSEJ.
MSEJ Writers Guild is tentatively set to begin in January 2015.
Additionally, during this time, participants will draft, receive feedback on, and edit their own article to be included in the next MSEJ edition. MSEJ staff members will mentor and provide guidance to participants throughout the program as well as during their tenure with the MSEJ.
Writers Guild participants will gain knowledge of the publishing industry, improve their writing skills and style, and publish their work in a national, monthly publication. Participants who successfully complete the program may be asked to serve as volunteer writers for the MSEJ.
