IBM: Innovation that matters for veterans and military families
It is rare to find a corporate partner that leaves as much impact on the nonprofits they support as IBM does. IBM’s support of CASY & MSCCN touches each of our job seekers.
Through their partnership with CASY & MSCCN, IBM has donated their Smarter Workforce solutions, including IBM® Kenexa® BrassRing on Cloud, which provides applicant tracking, case management, and communications capabilities to Employment Specialists as they assist their military-affiliated job seekers with training and placement. This gift directly supports the most essential aspects of our mission.
In 2016, IBM continued their support of Veteran training and expanded our popular joint effort i2® Analyst’s Notebook® Training. IBM sponsored eleven trainings throughout the continental United States in 2016, training and certifying Veterans on i2 security solutions. This program will continue in 2017.
Mr. Jason Kelley, Vice President & Partner, IBM Global Business Leader, Solutions & Design, and a member of the CASY & MSCCN Boards of Directors since 2015, led the charge for expanded support and technology upgrades that have enabled CASY & MSCCN to provide more streamlined service.
In 2016, CASY & MSCCN COO Erin Voirol and Director of Technology Jennifer Quimby participated in an IBM Design Thinking Workshop in Austin, Texas, where they worked on improving technological solutions and processes for our candidates.
