The Moultrie Spring Fling and Backyard BBQ Festival will take over the Colquitt County Courthouse Square for another two-day weekend Friday , April 14 and Saturday , April 15th . Photo submitted by City of Moultrie ing at 9 a . m . Saturday , the Courthouse Square will be full of food trucks and downtown restaurants will be open for services . Attendees can prepare their shopping bags because shops located on the square will be open for business . Families will get to experience an Easter-themed afternoon with free activities ranging from arts and crafts , an 18-hole golf course and aged-grouped egg hunts .

Convention and Visitors Bureau , said the life-size Hungry-Hungry Hippos game will return for Spring Fling . She looks forward to seeing local children compete in the game .
Titus Ranch , a local Christian-based non-profit , will kick off the morning with its “ Run for the Ranch ,” marathon . The race has a 5K , 10k and one-mile fun run or walk option for runners . The run ’ s course will begin in Downtown Moultrie on the square and continue through the Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority ’ s bike trail .
Spring Fling also hosts the Backyard BBQ Festival , which displays local residents ’ teamwork and talent . The festival is held in conjunction with the Taster ’ s Choice Competition , organized by the Magnolia Civitan Club . Festival attendees can purchase tickets to sample the cooks ’ food and anonymously vote for their favorite dishes .
