The City of Moultrie is preparing Downtown Moultrie – the heart of the community – for its upcoming Spring Fling festival . Taking place one week after Easter weekend , the Spring Fling and Backyard BBQ competition will fill the Colquitt County Courthouse Square with shopping opportunities , food vendors galore and a massive Easter egg hunt .
Spring Fling has been a Moultrie tradition for 19 years . The festival took a two-year hiatus while a global pandemic swept the nation . The community-loved event successfully returned last year with a major turnout .
