There is no point folding pyjamas for a pannier box! But I’d advise that you do have panniers or somewhere to secure your gear. Reason being is that some sights require walking and riding in full protection gear is fine but start huffing up a glen swinging a full face lid and you’re going to get a sweat on. On this route there are millions of things to see but I want to point out Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Around about a 20 min walk, you’ll now appreciate locking your gear away but for me it’s well worth the walk for the views. Perhaps not the best spot if you have an issue with heights.
