July 4 • Hillman • Fourth of July Parade The city of Hillman touts its Fourth of July parade as“ The biggest parade in the smallest town.” The 11 a. m. parade lasts for at least 1 1 / 2 hours and includes floats, cars, tractors and more. The afternoon typically includes an American Legion ball game afterward, horseshoes, a variety of food and beverages, games for kids, ice cream social, craft fair and softball and horseshoe.
July 5 • Randall • Independence Day Celebration Randall plans to celebrate Independence Day July 6, with a parade at 5 p. m.. Food and beverage items will be available throughout the day and the Fire Department will host an open house. A street dance, with music by Diamond Back, begins at 8 p. m., with a fireworks display at dusk.
July 6 • Randall • Randall Car Show A car show will be held, sponsored by the Randall VFW Curtis-Olson Post # 9073, from 10 a. m. – 2 p. m., on Pacific Avenue, across from the VFW. An awards ceremony will follow.
July 5-6 • Harding • Harding Days and Rodeo The city of Harding will host Harding Days, including a full rodeo competition. There will be Mutton Busting and a Pro Rodeo on Friday the 5th starting at 5 p. m. at JJ Legacy Cattle Co. Saturday the 6th will be a full day of fun for all ages with a pancake breakfast at the Harding Community Center at 9 a. m., followed by a parade at 11 a. m. There will be music in town and daytime activities for all ages throughout the day, mutton busting starting 3 p. m. and rodeo at 5 p. m. at JJ Legacy Cattle Co., Street dance in Harding with a fireworks display in the evening. July 6 • Bowlus • Bowlus Fun Day Bowlus Fun Day is sponsored by the Bowlus Fire and Rescue and the Bowlus First Response teams in Bowlus, on Highway 26, five miles west of Royalton. A full day celebration in downtown Bowlus includes a 5K fun walk / run, beginning at 8:30 a. m. in the city park; a 1K fun walk / run to follow; outdoor polka Mass at 10 a. m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church; parade at 11:15 a. m.; activities, rides and games for all ages to follow in the Bowlus City Park with music, dancing, food, and refreshments. There will be polka music by Gene Retka in the park from 12:30 p. m.- 4:30 p. m. music from Stone Road, beginning at 7 p. m. At dusk, enjoy a fireworks display.
July 17 • Foley • Party in the Park From 5:30 p. m.- 10 p. m. in Lions Park in Foley, all are welcome to join the Quality of Life Task Force to celebrate community and friends. This event includes musical entertainment, food, friends and families. The event is free, food is available for a small price. A movie will be shown at dusk.
July 19 • Motley • Golf Tournament The 30th annual Lincoln Scandia Valley Lions Golf Tournament will be held at the Pine Ridge Golf Club, 34500 Hillcrest Road, Motley.
July 26 • Royalton • Platte River Day Royalton’ s annual community gathering, sponsored by the Royalton Lions Club, offers a full day of activities from 8:30 a. m.- midnight. The event begins with the annual Platte River 5K run / walk at 8:30 a. m., with the parade to start at 11 a. m. The food court and beer garden opens at 11 a. m. The afternoon is filled with a variety of activities. The second annual Platte River Day Car Show runs from 2 p. m. – 5 p. m., featuring all years, makes and models of cars, truck and motorcycles. A cash only raffle drawing starts at 5:30 p. m., with one lucky person winning $ 5,000. A street dance kicks off at 8 p. m., featuring“ The Fabulous Armadillos.”

August 1 • Little Falls Linden Hill Lumberjack Fest From 5-9 p. m., visit the Linden Hill mansions to channel your inner LumberJack or LumberJill for a brand new event at Linden Hill! Try your hand at Hammerschlagen, toss an axe, and enjoy Oktoberfest-inspired food and drink.
Aug. 7 • Pierz • Rock, Roll and Stroll The Pierz Commercial Club’ s Rock, Roll and Stroll is a show on Main Street in Pierz that features custom and classic cars, motorcycles or anything cool, from 5 p. m.- 8 p. m. Local shops and restaurants are open, music is played and food and drinks are available to the public. Free registration.
Aug. 6 • Green Fair Folk Festival The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls invite the public to the 2025 Green Fair Folk Festival, from 4 p. m. – 8 p. m., on the west lawn of St. Francis Convent, Little Falls. Exhibits focus on earth-friendly products,“ green” education, fair trade items, seasonal produce; local artisans and amazing music. Bring blankets or folding chairs and enjoy a wide variety of entertainment featuring students and faculty students from St. Francis Music Center and other local talent. This is a family-friendly event with activities for kids, including free face painting. The Green Fair Folk Festival, a community celebration where everyone is
