June 19 • Fort Ripley Drive‘ Fore’ Cancer Golf Tournament The Drive“ Fore” Cancer Golf Tournament will be held at Eagle’ s Landing Golf Course in Fort Ripley. June 25-28 • Little Falls • Morrison County Fair The Morrison County Fair is located on Hawthorn Road in Little Falls. The midway is open each day of the Fair, offering rides, games and food. Other activities include 4-H and open class livestock and horse show, grandstand shows featuring motocross, autocross racing and car competition, demolition derby and 4x4 truck and truck pulls, many kids events and so much more. June 27 • Randall • Independence Day Celebration Randall plans to celebrate Independence Day June 27, with a parade at 5 p. m.. Food and beverage items will be available throughout the day and the Fire Department will host an open house. A street dance, with music by Diamond Back, begins at 8 p. m., with a fireworks display at dusk. See Page 13.
June 28 • Randall • Randall Car Show A car show will be held, sponsored by the Randall VFW Curtis-Olson Post # 9073, from 10 a. m. – 2 p. m., on Pacific Avenue, across from the VFW. An awards ceremony will follow.
July 2 • Pierz • Rock, Roll and Stroll The Pierz Commercial Club’ s Rock, Roll and Stroll is a show on Main Street in Pierz that features custom and classic cars, motorcycles or anything cool, from 5 p. m.- 8 p. m. Local shops and restaurants are open, music is played and food and drinks are available to the public. A poker walk is held and prizes are offered. Free registration.
July 4 • Hillman • Fourth of July Parade The city of Hillman touts its Fourth of July parade as“ The biggest parade in the smallest town.” The 11 a. m. parade lasts for at least 1 1 / 2 hours and includes floats, cars, tractors and more. The afternoon typically includes an American Legion ball game afterward, horseshoes, a variety of food and beverages, games for kids, ice cream social, craft fair and softball and horseshoe. July 1 • Little Falls • Garden Tour Stroll the Linden Hill gardens along with featured residential gardens in the community. Lemonade will be served in the Pavilion at Linden Hill. Additional garden locations to be announced. Proceeds will be used to help with the gardening expenses at Linden Hill.
