June 5 • Pierz • Rock, Roll and Stroll The Pierz Commercial Club’ s Rock, Roll and Stroll is a show on Main Street in Pierz that features custom and classic cars, motorcycles or anything cool, from 5 p. m.- 8 p. m. Local shops and restaurants are open, music is played and food and drinks are available to the public. A poker walk is held and prizes are offered. Free registration.
June 21 • Little Falls • Enrichment Day at the Zoo Join Pine Grove Zoo from noon to 2:30 in creating enrichment items for our Zoo family. This is a free event with paid admission. June 7 • Little Falls • River Rat 8K / 4K / 1K Runners are invited to the beautiful Belle Prairie Park nestled among some of the largest red pines in the area. The start area is along the Mississippi River and has a picnic area and playground. Choose an 8K( 5 miles), 4K( 2.5 miles), or the free 1K. Great T-shirts, refreshments, prizes and quick results make our race one to put on your calendar. There is a team division and lots of age group prizes. All walkers are welcome. June 9 • Fort Ripley Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament The annual Habitat for Humanity golf tournament begins with a shot-gun start at 10 a. m. at Eagle’ s Landing in Fort Ripley. June 14 • Motley • June Fest Motley June Fest is back and bigger than ever. Free activities at Converse Park include bounce houses, a pedal pull, car show and face painters. Activities at the Motley Fairgrounds include mud volleyball, bean bags, bounce houses, a dunk tank, games, vendors, food, beer garden, music, bingo, a Rib and Wing Fest, demo derby, a live band by Old Voltage at 8:30 p. m. and fireworks.
