Ages: 12-85+
Come explore historic sites within Montpelier’s wooded areas and learn
how archaeologists use terrain, metal detector surveys, and old growth
trees to discover plantation and Civil War sites across the 2700 acres.
Experience mapping and recording natural or archaeological features
through hands-on experiences. Program includes exclusive guided hikes
and lectures.
