I Ate Too Much
Set up the Figure-8 Drill by placing 3 Plugs in a
straight line, each 15 yards from one another. Set
up your monkii bars near the center Plug of the
Figure-8 Drill. Record the time it takes you to
complete the movements and rest twice that
amount before beginning the next Round.

Complete 8 Rounds:
Run the Figure-8 Drill
8 Toes-to-Bars
8 Squats
Rest exactly twice the amount of
time it took to complete all the
movements.

You will be using a 1:2 work-to-rest ratio for this
workout. This can be one of the more difficult
ratios. You will have enough rest to feel
recovered so that you can maintain a very high
level of intensity during each set. This ratio
targets the glycolytic and oxidative energy
systems, helping you to improve your speed in
the run as well as lactic acid tolerance. The work
is harder and the rest is that much better.
