Our focus is to support you at every stage of your tenancy too:
Help you from when your tenancy starts. We know this can be a stressful
time – so we’ll contact you to check you’re financially ready
Give you a free benefits health check so you know exactly what you need to
pay towards your rent
If things go wrong, let us know early so we can prevent going to court which
can cost you around £350
We’ll liaise with 3rd party agencies such as StepChange and Local
Authorities in order to sustain you tenancy and prevent eviction.
Working with other departments - we’ll commit to:
Continuing to have close contact with Income officer so we can have a
consistent approach to helping you
Meeting regularly with our Community Development Teams so we can help
you with work-based skills and applying for jobs
Working closely with Digital Inclusion so we can help you boost your
confidence online and help you use AmicusHorizon’s ‘MyAccount’ portal.
