important partners and regular communication is a must. However, at
school, Parents need to make prior arrangement for any meet-up session
with the teachers unlike KidZania where the Zupervisors have to handle
parents who barge into the establishments to confront them of any
unhappiness that arises during the activities which can be seen clearly from
outside the establishment. This can be rather tough for the Zupervisors to
handle and the operations staff are always on standby to provide a helping
hand.
At KidZania, parents are also allowed to participate in the activities with
their kids in some establishments such as the Aviation Academy, 7-Eleven
and Tourism board etc.. Many of the establishments are also designed in a
way which allow parents to fully observe what and how their child/children
are doing during the activities. KidZania staff are also trained on what to do
when engaging with guests by following certain guidelines:-:
L- Listen Actively
E- Empathise
A- Apologise for Assurance
P- Propose Two Options
They are told to contact their team leader immediately whenever they are
faced with guests who are aggressive or when they are not able to manage
the guest.
Children (Customers)
Children are students to us in schools. They are to learn within their best
effort and it is as important for us to look into their character and citizenship
development as holistic education as a person. We believe we are moulding
the people and building for the future. Student well-being are looked into
before teaching and learning take place in school. They have a report book
that consists of their results as well as their remarks on their characters from
P1 to P6 and from Secondary 1 to 4 in their tertiary education.
