Meet the Change Architects
As is with any initiative, the front liners play a
significant role. Their experiences and insights
carry stories that are worth sharing with the whole
organization. Let’s meet some of the Change
Architects, and get to know their take on Change
Management and the long road ahead.
What was your impression of Change
Management?
Joseph – Changes from the old to something new.
We upgrade for efficiency.
Milton – It’s about time for change. It’s an
opportunity for us to move forward.
Dominic – All of us in the Finance department are
very excited. Initially we thought that changes will
only happen in the system. Then we saw that there
are bigger changes to happen, so we’re very
excited for the positive changes.
Were there fears when you heard about Change
Management?

Rod – Resistance from employees is inevitable.
I was thinking how I can convince my colleagues
that Change is beneficial. It is not only for the
company but for the development of every
employee as well.
Dhors – I’ve always embraced change. But of
course not all employees will have the same
response. So my fear is not really for myself but for
the others who are not yet ready to embrace it.
Jojo –We’ve been implementing several systems
in the IT Department, but Change Management is
something different. It is something that needs to be
carefully studied, so that you’ll know how to guide
others. It’s not frightening for me
because we’ve done it before, and I believe we
can do it again.
What made you decide to become a Change
Architect when it was offered to you?
Dominic – When it was first brought to me, I was
hesitant to say yes but then I thought that it’s going
to be a team effort and at the same time a
privilege. I believe that I can contribute something.
Joseph – Being a Change Architect will make me a
model to my direct reports. Whatever it is that the
company wants to happen, I can easily cascade it
to my team.
Milton – I myself want a lot of changes in Padcal.
Our challenge is how to cascade it to our team
members.
