Avoid Trans fats altogether, but saturates can be part of a healthy diet as these can help certain hormone levels and improve brain function. It is recommended to keep below 20 grams per day. Here are some sources….. Egg yolks, Fish, Chocolate, Peanuts, Coconut oil/milk Conclusion You must have fat in your diet!! Try to maintain higher levels of HDL fats in your diet; 50 grams and below. Be careful not to put yourself in a calorific surplus which can lead to fat gain. Saturated fats should be kept to a minimal 5-20 grams.
