Small amounts of fibre rich complex carbohydrates mixed with simple carbs can reduce the risk factors, for instance by mixing fruit with porridge, rather than just eating fruit on its own. Around 50-60% of your diet should contain Carbohydrates mostly complex! Only 5-10% of which should contain simple carbohydrates such as sugar. Q. Can a fruit smoothie affect your fat loss goals??? A. Yes!! Although fruit contains vitamins and minerals which are good for the body, when blended up as a drink the fruit releases sugars giving the drink an incredibly high GI.
