Completing the Enrollment Certification form does not certify eligibility of VA educational benefits or payment of tuition and fees . Please contact VA at 1-888-442-4551 for more information concerning your VA educational benefits and remaining eligibility of benefits .
The initial Enrollment Certification Request with Eastern Florida State College will need to be completed in person at one of the Military & Veterans Service Centers .

It is the veteran or dependents responsibility to notify the Eastern Florida State College ( EFSC ) Military & Veterans Service Center of ANY official major changes , course substitutions , drop / add courses , or nonattendance of a course . Failure to do so MAY result in an OVER / UNDER PAYMENT of your VA Educational Benefits .
We encourage you to register for your courses as early as possible . It allows for a better selection of classes so you can select the courses that fit into your schedule . Also , the earlier you register the sooner you can submit your Enrollment Certification Request . We can then get your enrollment sent to the VA Regional Office , which increases the chance that you get paid on time and do not experience delays in your pay .

Montgomery GI Bill Chapter 30 and 1606 – Verification of enrollment must be completed at the end of each month in order to receive payment for that month . To verify enrollment , call 1-877-823-2378 .
Survivors ’ and Dependents ’ Assistance ( DEA ) Chapter 35 – If you are receiving DEA benefits and are enrolled in a non-college degree program , you can verify your attendance by calling 1-888-442-4551 .

Unsatisfactory Progress
Students receiving VA educational benefits ( VA Students ) must maintain the following academic standards : � Cumulative GPA ( CGPA ) of 2.0 and � Complete at least 50 % of all coursework taken in a term
