CSR Community Engagements and Memorandums of Understanding Community Engagement Critical to MWOG’s mode of work is honouring all Memorandums of Agreement with the host communities to enable peaceful co-existence and optimal economic growth in our surroundings. As a case study, MWOG was committed to ensuring that Ogbechie Timothy Oseloka and Emem Charles Akpan have a good today and better tomorrow by engaging them on a training for NCD-Human Capital De- velopment in line with Section 29 of the NOGICD Act. The six months training took place at Homik Oil & Gas Facility Engineering School Ltd, Lekki, Lagos. It is in alignment with the Human Capital Development Plan of the Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board (NCDMB) to develop a skilled workforce for the Oil & Gas Industry that will be at par with their contempo- raries anywhere in the world in terms of professionalism and best practice and also to close gaps in local skills in the Oil & Gas industry. Timothy and Charles acquired dif- ferent skills after the training, and they are fully employed by different companies.
