You served us all…..
You gave your very best!!!
Ready and willing to establish due
processes and procedures.
You travelled both far and near,
You went the extra mile.
When we remember our recorded
milestones and achievements;
As an establishment, we remember your
many sacrifices.
You made sure we safely stood tall even
through the weary and cold nights.
Our safety and security was your utmost
concern.
Some misunderstood your intentions,
But I saw a man who inhaled discipline and
exhaled orderliness.
You were a due process man to the core.
The standards are visible and your legacy
lives on.
The big question is WHY????
Unannounced, without a word, you delved
into the world beyond.
Your presence was still very much needed.
Adieu Mallam Aliyu!
