Water in instalations
•Exhibitors that require the use of water and sewage should indicate this in the Participation Application, for a better distribution of sites. Likewise, they must complete the corresponding contracting form, which is included in the Exhibitor Services Catalog, and send it to Servifira two weeks before the start of the assembly.
•In the Pavilions there are water connections and drainage, but in case of having to install additional pipes, the exhibitor must do it at his own expense. The thread pitch is ½ "and the drain pipe is 40 mm.
•For pipes, pressure pipes with thread on both sides must be used.
•The water pressure in the distribution pipes of Barcelona Trade Fair is 2 bar. At night it can reach 5 atmospheres.
•For devices that require constant pressure, it is recommended to use regulators and, if necessary, devices that increase the pressure.
•The Barcelona Fair declines all responsibility for interruptions or irregularities in the distribution of water.
•In all cases, the Basic Rules for indoor water supply installations must be complied with.
Evacuation of Smoke and Gases
• All gas or vapor originated by exposure materials that are harmful to the health or annoying to the community, must be evacuated outside the Palaces. Therefore, the assembly of an evacuation duct on behalf of the Exhibitor must be foreseen, in inflammable material according to regulations.
• It is necessary to previously consult the Department of Works and Maintenance of the Barcelona Fair the possibility of making such facilities depending on the location occupied in the palaces or exhibition halls.
• The exhibitor is responsible for compliance with such regulations, as well as the consequences resulting from their unfulfillment.
