SURVEILLANCE SERVICES AT BARCELONA FAIR
Surveillance services
• During the assembly, celebration and dismantling periods, the Barcelona fair is responsible for the general surveillance of fairgrounds, access control and external surveillance, as well as general and preventive security of order problems and fire safety or emergencies of any kind.
• In any case it is a guarantee destined to the exposed products, not to the individual merchandise exhibitors, so THE BARCELONA FAIR is not responsible for the private property of the exhibitors, their employees or dependents.
• Barcelona Trade Fair is not responsible of any theft of materials and objects placed on the stands, not for any damages that may be suffered during the assembly, celebration and dismantling periods. However, the organization will give support during the resolution or processing of the corresponding complaint.
• Each exhibitor is responsible for the items of value that are in their stand, must take care of them during the assembly period, the hours of entry of the public and the dismantling period.
• THE BARCELONA FAIR is not responsible for the surveillance of the stands, so if an exhibitor wants a surveillance service of its stand, they can contract this service through the SERVIFIRA department of Barcelona Trade Fair, or do it privately.
• If an exhibitor wishes to take over the surveillance of its stand, must first request the corresponding authorization from the Logistics Department of the FIS of Barcelona, accompanied by a letter of legitimacy from the guard, in duplicate. The authorization will be stamped on the back of a copy of the letter of legitimacy and will be given to the guard by the presentation of his ID.

Evacuation of Fumes and Gases
• All gas or vapor originated by exposure materials that are harmful to the health or annoying to the community, must be evacuated outside the Palaces. Therefore, the assembly of an evacuation duct on behalf of the Exhibitor must be foreseen, in non-flammable material according to regulations.
• It is necessary to previously consult the Department of Works and Maintenance of the Barcelona Fair the possibility of making such facilities depending on the location occupied in the palaces or exhibition halls.
• The exhibitor is responsible for compliance with such regulations, as well as the consequences resulting from their non-compliance.
