Certain colors, materials and embroidery which are much rare in foreign countries become the key attention point for the whole festival season.
Even the foreigners who like the Indian traditional dresses, colors and materials are fond of this NRI fest at Czarina since they have the designs and weaves from almost all parts of the country. The concept of boutique was not that popular in Trivandrum when Czarina came in to being. The success of its journey for more than the past two decades owes much to the matchless leadership of its captain Mrs. Sheila James who is always hopeful in bringing new equations of fashion to the city through her boutique.
“ We won’ t compromise in quality. If we take a silk saree, we can easily find at least fifty different varieties in its material quality. This difference in quality always reflects on the price tag. Czarina always goes for higher quality and we have experienced that the customers find it worth”, says Sheila. She hails from a politically renowned family in Kerala which is always busy political discussions by her father, Late Baby John and now continuing through her brother and Minister for Labor, Shibu Baby John.
