Do you know how recipes have ingredients that help make them successful?
Well, archers have ingredients that make them successful, too! Sticking to the
recipe theme, Archers will definitely need 4 cups of dedication. I will go ahead
and tell you that it takes a lot of effort for an archer to be successful.
Ingredients of a Successful Archer
The first ingredient is 1 cup of learning. All archers have to learn the 11 steps
to archery success. The 11 steps help archers get a good, clean shot at the target. The 11 steps are:
Stance
Peaks Mill
Nock
Archery
team with
their medals from
the Region
7 tournament. 3
people
missing.
Bow hand set
Draw hand set
Pre-draw
Draw
Anchor
Aim
Shot set-up
Release
Follow through/reflect
If archers always follow the 11 steps correctly, they should get their best
shot at the target. The 11 steps are super easy to follow and learn.
The second ingredient, like I said, is 4 cups of dedication. A big part of being on the team is showing up at practices and tournaments. If you don’t show
up to a lot practices and tournaments without reason, then you can get kicked
off the team.
