The Downtown Meridian Ale Trail Spooky Edition was held Friday , Oct . 25 , at various eateries and drinkeries in downtown Meridian . Participants , some dressed in Halloween costumes , discovered a world of ales , handcrafted cocktails and tasty bites as they gathered with friends and meandered through different stops downtown . Participating locations included Harvest Grill , Fare on Eighth , Boxcar , VLounge , Threefoot Brewing Co ., MUM , Island 601 , Aura 5 , Aie ’ s , Brickhaus , Mia ’ s , Queen City Cigar and Weidmann ’ s before ending at Spacey ’ s with musical guest The Family Gathering taking the stage .
