In addition, employees can have these five strategies to support their mental health:

Healthy Diet 1

It’s essential to have a healthy diet because it can keep your body still working. People usually will have stress eating or hunger strike while they are having mental health issues. So we want to create a habit of having a healthy diet. We can avoid damaging our bodies while we are facing mental health issues.

2 Regular Excercise

Doing exercises at least 30 minutes per day can reduce the stress of work. We can do slow walking, running, swimming, dancing, etc. It helps our body keep fit, stay healthy, and relax our brain.

Take a Break 3

Giving ourselves a vacation during work time is essential. We can not work all year without resting. It will make us lose interest in working and cause mental health issues. Therefore, taking a break by travelling to different places or staying at home with families or friends can give us a break from the heavy work that can help you work better in the future.

4 Express Your Feelings

If you face any mental health issues, it will be better to talk to someone you trust. It can be your friends, family, even the psychological counsellor. After you express your feelings, it can help you feel better and reduce your stress. People’s support systems can make you feel energetic and supportive.

Suppose you are having mental health issues and losing hope about doing work. You can find things that you are passionate about or enjoy doing. For example, you can watch a TV show you like, play a sport you want, draw, etc. It can make your attention shift from the risks you are facing. When you feel better, try that again, and things might be solved.
