There are many different ways to support mental health in the workplace. As the company/employer. Here are three different ways to support employee’s mental health:

1 Survey Mental Health to the Employees

At the end of each term, managers can give workers a survey to fill out. It helps managers understand each worker’s situation and the mental issues they might have. The survey can ask questions such as “How do you feel about the work?”, “Have you experienced any stress, depression, or anxiety in the last few weeks?” etc. 

Companies can cooperate with some mental health clinics to provide the Mental Health Plan to their workers. The services can include something like meeting with the mental counsellor monthly. In addition, companies can do some fun things together.

2 Mental Health Plan as Part of the Employee Benefit

3Regular Monthly Check-ins

The critical key thing is communication. Some strategies can be having a monthly meeting to check in about how employees are doing, how they feel about the work, and understanding the risks they might be facing at work or outside of work. If employers find some employees are facing mental health issues, having a fun conversation with them such as having a coffee chat, giving them a break by holding team bondings can help them reduce their stress.
